Lisa is currently one of the shortlisted playwrights on Fishamble’s A PLAY FOR IRELAND initiative. With them she is developing a surreal new play, The Visionary, about a donut shop owner who is in denial about going deaf, dumb and blind. The play features a giant squid.

Róisín at the Old Red Lion

Róisín was first commissioned as part of The Rooftop Sessions event at the Old Red Lion theatre, Islington. It is a one-woman play written for actor, Sarah Madigan.

Róisín explores how societies close ranks against those who speak out, female friendship, and guilt. Terri attempts to justify her eventual betrayal of her university friend, Róisín.

Róisín was longlisted for the 2018 Papatango Prize, and longlisted for Theatre503’s playwriting award from nearly 2,000 entries.

Kink comedy pilot

Lisa’s TV pilot script, Kink was longlisted for the 2018 Funny Women comedy script awards.

Kink is about a bubbly if not emotionally inarticulate thirty-something who has kept her job as a dominatrix secret for years, but is found out by her prudish sister. Over the course of the series, she must fight to save their relationship and prove to her sister that we are more than just what we do for a living.

Guinea Pigs comedy pilot

I also write for screen with collaborators, Chris Truscott, and composer/songwriter Yve Blake. Together we have developed the pilot for Guinea Pigs, a musical comedy set in a drug trial centre.
